Why: Not to be gross, but my feet sweat a lot. Sweat isn’t your feet’s best friend in the world as the moisture and friction while running and really cause some nasty blisters. These injinji socks though were a God send. What is great about them is that they are TOE socks, which is a little weird at first, but AWESOME for people who get blisters in between their toes (like me). I usually wear these while running in regular running shoes, but have used them with my Vibram Fivefingers and they were not too bad (didn’t fit as well as I liked, but what can ya do).

Why: You can try to prevent blisters all you want, but sooner or later you are going to get one, and it is going to bug you like no other while you run and train. Having some type of padding over your blister while it heals is the best way to make sure nothing gets worse but still have the ability to run a few miles.

Why: All around good product to have before a run. The reality is for many runners chafing/blisters are a very common occurrence. However, using a Bodyglide type products will help lessen any friction you may have in certain areas (from toes to thighs to other areas). This product above hasn’t been bad on my skin at all as well as some lotions and other things may be.

Why: I used to run in regular boxers, however found out quickly that this just causes more chafing and discomfort while I run. I switched over to these boxer briefs and was amazed at how much more enjoyable my run was and post-run was. Along with the Bodyglide, chafing hasn’t been a huge problem for me.
